Why This Frazer Nash

At 11 years old I would stand in front of the display for Anitque & Classic Automotive Inc., and in front of the Frazer Nash, one of the 6 replicars  and explain to everyone why this was such an exceptional car; how the original Frazer Nash was chain driven and how the original wire wheels made the vehicle that much lighter and faster for racing. I used to show the on lookers how the front windscreen folded down on the front hood and how a small half moon racing screen replaced it reducing tremendously the drag during a race.

At 33 my brother called me up and said that one of his colleagues Captain Hunter sold him a 1934 Frazer Nash! I said what? I’ve got to have it; I’ve been in love with this car from the day I was born! He said alright, when do want delivery.

As we started this website, strangely enough, not even 2 weeks ago, my nephew Mark says, “I used to go to school with the son of the guy that built your Frazer Nash; I used to go over to his place after school and step over these white body parts everywhere. We used to sit and watch Cap. Hunter assembling this car.”

Soon after I purchased this special kitcar, there was an auto show in Carlisle Pennsylvania only for Kitcars! I had to go; I was looking for extra parts needed to complete my new car, ie. antique head lights, steering wheel, dash board ideas etc… To my surprise, I found the kiosk and I asked the right question to the right guy! I simply said “I’m looking for parts for my Frazer Nash I just bought.” and he said, “I’m the owner and Frazer Nash Inc. is for sale. Let me check my inventory, call me in a couple weeks and we should be able to make a deal”. So two weeks later I arrived at his back door with a 20 ton truck and we started loading! Wow!, was that truck loaded!
And all these years later, I take it out for parade day and pull a float with it for Rockwood Karate Club and periodically take my young son for a ride down to our stocked fish ponds, for a little trout fishing! I am still in love with this beautiful car to this day!
